Why is this Happening ?!
Two Things You Wish You Knew Before Stressing Out =>
1. Careful What You Think: Your Body is Listening
You are the gatekeeper for your thoughts, positive or negative. You get to choose what you keep and what you release.“Whether you believe you can or you can’t, you’re right!”—Henry Ford. As you believe, so shall it be! Jesus often explored the belief of the one who was to be healed before the healing occurred. The miracles took place according to the faith of those receiving them. Belief is essential for any lasting transformation in this life to take place. Your thoughts flow from your beliefs and many of those beliefs manifested out of negative situations in life: I’m unworthy, unlovable, incapable; nothing ever works out for me; for anything to be worthwhile it needs to be difficult; I’m a loser; and on and on.
The water studies from Japan came to my awareness during my experience with cancer. The impact visually inspired me to make it a practice to watch the words I used throughout my treatment and subsequent healing. Basically, our bodies are made up of 70% water. Dr. Masaru Emoto, author of The Hidden Messages in Water, discovered that crystals formed in frozen water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed toward them. He found that water from clear springs (and water exposed to loving words) shows brilliant, complex, and colorful snowflake patterns. In contrast, polluted water (water exposed to negative words) forms incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colors and dark holes. To me, this speaks of the POWER of positive words all the way down to the cellular level!
As Einstein said,“The field directly affects the particle.”Again, when you connect to what is truly essential in life, loving and being loved, your inner voice will reflect that connection and your body will listen.
“The mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.” Romans 8:6
2. Why is this Happening ?!
This can be criticism, rejection, grief, loss, pain, illness, family issues, money problems or any other situation that would evoke the response: WHY is this happening? I encourage you to remove this wondering from your life experience because of its ability to keep you in a state of emotional paralysis. Inspiration and a sense of purpose flow from the experience of letting go of your need to know why things happen as they do. Resistingwhat isin life sets the body up for tension and anxiety. When you release this resistance an abundance of creativity is birthed in the soul.
When you interact with other human beings in this world, take full responsibility for your responses. No human being has the power to make you feel anything, unless you give that power to them. You will often stay stuck repeating negative comments from other people in your head to the point that you miss the opportunities for learning and living right in front of your face. Let go of your need to know why people do what they do or say what they say.
Ask how, when or what questions instead of why questions: How can I return to a place of inner peace? What benefits do I get holding on to this problem? How will I know it is solved? When was a time that this problem was not a problem for me? When you connect yourself to the benefits of solution-based thinking, you are free to learn and grow. When you hold onto your need to know why things happen as they do, you will stay stuck in justifications and reasons without changing anything. Ask yourself solution-focused questions throughout your day and watch how the doors open: the world is full of creative solutions, it’s simply our perceptions that block our ability to tune into all available options. Ask: “What can I learn from this situation moving forward that makes me a better person and supports who I choose to be in this world?” OR how about exploring this thought: “Everything in life is sent to make me fearless, what fear am I being called to release in the midst of needing to know why things happen as they do?”
