Grab & Go Stress Solution: March 1, 2014

I know someone who lost 25 pounds by simply infusing

their day with short moments of exercise.

Weave in Exercise into Every Day Tasks and Transitions:

* While Brushing Teeth: March or Jog in Place

* Take the Stairs over elevators/escalators  (move

up the stairs as fast as you can).

* Every 90 Minutes stand up and do 10 or more jumping

jacks, imaginary jump rope, or put your hands in the air

as you jump up and down saying YES to life.

* Jog, skip, or hop to your car (great opportunity to practice

releasing the fear of “what will people think?”).

* Before leaving the restroom pause and do 10 or more

squats.

* As much as possible when you are walking from point A

to point B add and extra movement: extra steps, jog or

skip…I will often throw in a few front snap kicks.

* Before you get in the shower commit to at least 10 or

more sit-ups.
