Here is a quick tip to release tension in your body taken from my new book:5 Minutes to Stress Relief…Enjoy:
Squeeze each finger with your opposite hand from the base of each finger out.
Imagine pulling out your body’s tension through each fingertip as you say a phrase of release, such as “Releasing all tension in my body easily and effortlessly.”
After pulling out the tension through each finger on both hands, go back and squeeze each fingertip, and pull until your grip releases, as you say, “Releasing remaining tension, releasing remaining tension.” Shake both hands when you are done.
